Our client is a capital management firm. They are looking for an Accounting Analyst to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Manage general ledgers and book daily cash activity for Funds
- Maintain Fund accounts payable and manage expense reimbursements
- Carry out monthly bank reconciliations for various entities
- Draft and distribute quarterly and annual reports as well as account statements
- Support the production of the Funds’ periodic distribution process
- Assist with annual Fund audits by preparing supporting schedules
- Produce Fund capital call and distribution notices to Limited Partners
- Implement, organize, update, and maintain Fund accounting and administration
- Coordinate the signing and filing of Federal and State tax returns
- Prepare schedules and compile information for Limited Partner requests
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 1-2 years of accounting experience
- Experience with financial statements and A/P
- Understanding of partnership accounting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter and able to multitask under pressure
- Must have strong organizational skills
- Skilled in Investran, QuickBooks, and Excel
