Abacus Group is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Recruiter to join our Accounting & Finance team in Encinitas, CA. This represents a unique opportunity to play a key role in the growth of our firm’s southern California market.
The successful candidate will have a background in public accounting and/or Accounting & Finance recruitment and will focus exclusively on permanent positions across all industries and levels of experience.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with Accounting and Finance professionals in the Southern California market
Source qualified candidates through various channels including LinkedIn, candidate referrals, and personal and professional networks
Interview candidates to assess qualifications and determine suitable career opportunities
Maintain an excellent technical understanding of the industries and roles for which the division recruits
Analyze and respond to client hiring needs to deliver high-quality candidates in a timely manner
Apply superb marketing and negotiation skills
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related
1-3 years of Accounting & Finance recruiting experience
1-4 years of Accounting experience (Public Accounting preferred)
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Assertive, resulted-oriented, friendly, and self-motivated demeanor
