Accounts Payable Manager Permanent

Our client is a financial services firm. They seek an Accounts Payable Manager to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AP department activities to ensure correctness and timeliness
• Maintain accurate and complete financial, employee, and client records
• Compile, analyze, and report financial information to applicable agencies
• Define and facilitate the achievement of AP department objectives
• Develop budgets, policies, and department controls to increase accuracy and efficiency
• Build and maintain relationships with employees, clients, vendors, and lenders
• Hire, train, and evaluate the performance of AP staff members

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience
• Financial services industry background
• Supervisory experience required
• Excellent communication skills
• Organized, analytical, and detail-oriented
• Skilled in Oracle and Excel (V lookup and Pivots)
