Our client is a construction company. They are seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Monitor vendor invoices, petty cash requests, and staff expenses
- Assist with codification and posting to the general ledger
- Help scan documents and maintain the database
- Manage weekly review and presentation of the expense report
- Liaise and follow up with vendors and staff on A/P issues
- Maintain collection, verification, and safeguarding of tax certificates
- Support annual processing of tax information returns
- Analyze and cross-train with an accounting manager
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 2+ years of accounts payable experience
- Organized, analytical, and detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask
- Proficient in advanced Excel
