Our client is a hospitality company. They are looking for a temp to perm Bookkeeper to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Check timesheets, attendance records, and other relevant data from various restaurants
- Oversee weekly tip sheet reports while ensuring proper payroll and tip regulations are followed
- Manage employee wages, hours worked, overtime, and any special compensation accurately
- Monitor and process deductions, benefits, and tax withholdings
- Arrange payroll records, employee information, timesheets, and payroll reports
- Review payroll discrepancies and address wage-related inquiries
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 3+ years of payroll or bookkeeping experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Excel required, Heartland preferred
