Controller Permanent

Our client is a manufacturing company. They are looking for a Controller to join their Greenwich, CT office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks, and other SEC filings
• Uphold compliance with SEC regulations and U.S. GAAP
• Handle cash and treasury management
• Manage payroll and stock-based compensation programs
• Maintain/improve ICFR to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial statements
• Support external auditors during the annual financial audit and quarterly reviews
• Play an integral role in the tax return preparation and tax provision work
• Participate in FP&A including budget variance analysis and annual financial statements
• Discuss financial results and reporting issues to senior management and directors
• Oversee a small team of accounts payable/receivable teammates

Requirements

• 4+ years of accounting experience
• SEC filing experience
• Advanced GAAP knowledge
• Open to industry background
• Big 4 accounting background preferred
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• CPA strongly preferred
• Proficient in Excel
