Our client is an insurance company. They are seeking a Financial Analyst to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Collect, process, and interpret financial data and create financial models and reports
- Present financial reports to communicate key findings and insights to senior management
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast revenues, expenses, and profitability
- Carry out variance analysis and explain the causes of deviations from budgeted results
- Make recommendations to improve financial performance and optimize business processes
- Work closely with other teams to support cross-functional projects and initiatives
Requirements
- 3-6 years of finance experience,
- Insurance industry background preferred
- Financial modeling experience
- Organized, analytical, and detail-oriented
- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Skilled in Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficient in SQL (strong with data)
