Our client is a hedge fund. They are looking for a Head of Human Resources to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Ensure HR strategies, policies, and programs align with the company’s mission and vision
- Develop and provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on all HR-related matters
- Foster an inclusive culture by promoting employee engagement and DEI initiatives
- Hear and address employee concerns and ensure fair and consistent resolution of issues
- Manage the design and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs
- Uphold compliance with legal requirements related to compensation and benefits
- Pinpoint training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills
- Encourage a learning culture that supports professional growth and development
- Draft and submit HR reports to senior management and regulatory agencies as required
- Oversee the HR budget, ensuring resource allocation aligns with strategic objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources
- 6+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to lead and develop HR teams
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strategic thinking and a results-oriented mindset
- Skilled in MS Office Suite
