Our client is an asset management firm. They are looking for an Investment Specialist to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales by developing relationships with new and existing Financial Advisors
- Develop business plans, manage territories, and drive regional and corporate objectives
- Call your assigned territory for scheduling, prospecting, or relationship development purposes
- Answer and convert inbound calls from the territory into opportunities to drive sales
- Uphold knowledge of every Fund and articulate Firm and product information within Firm guidelines
- Stay up-to-date on all accounts, including specific rules of distributors and platforms
- Utilize CRM system to research business, log activity, and run competitive analysis
- Effectively prioritize and manage daily, weekly, and monthly workload
- Work as a cohesive team to support all sales and client service activities and goals
- Travel within the territory and attend work conferences when applicable
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in the business field
- 2+ years of sales experience
- Financial services industry background
- Able to multi-task and work efficiently under stress
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Team-oriented and collaborative personality
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel; Salesforce
- Must have Series 7 and 63
