Our client is a financial service company. They are looking for a Director of Investor Relations to remotely join their office.
Responsibilities
- Instill investor confidence in the company’s vision for delivering shareholder value
- Create a robust investor relations strategy and framework
- Demonstrate consistent and clear communication between internal and external parties
- Administer relationships with investment banks, research analysts, and other institutional investors
- Produce insights on market activity and present them to the leadership team
- Discuss new products or services with shareholders that could make them more money
- Evaluate and present financial trends, competitor behavior, and shareholder issues
- Produce content for investor presentations
- Organize materials for corporate events such as annual shareholder meetings or conferences
- Oversee quarterly earnings and conference calls
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting
- 10+ years of experience dealing with investors
- A strong track record of creating positive relations with the investor community and equity research analysts
- Working knowledge of SEC laws, securities disclosure requirements, and filing requirements
- Strong understanding of the capital markets and key metrics for companies in the industry
- Proficient with financial modeling techniques and valuation methods
- Strong understanding of macroeconomics, capital markets trends, competitor activities, industry dynamics, and customer trends
- Client-minded focus professional, who is also entrepreneurial
- Able to perform in a high-pressure environment and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
