Our client is a brokerage firm. They are looking for a Payroll Admin Associate to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Complete semi-monthly payroll for employees using Workday Payroll
- Finish all regular and bonus payrolls on a timely basis
- Handle payroll changes such as new hires, terminations, and other payroll entries
- Liaise with Workday administrator to update the system where necessary
- Check that statutory tax withholding requirement are properly calculated
- Monitor tax agency notifications and ensure payroll reporting for various tax jurisdictions is filed on time
- Collaborate with fellow cross-functional team members to ensure all files and reports are received
- Assist with auditing payroll data and preview before transmission
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience processing payroll
- Experience with creating reports in Workday required
- Experience with escalations from employees, managers, auditors, and government agencies
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Workday, advanced Excel
