Our client is a financial services firm. They are looking for a Platform Engineer to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, implement, maintain, and manage resources through infrastructure as code
- Outline adoption, implementation, and use of cloud technology standards
- Handle identity and access management, cost management, and license management
- Review adopted cloud technologies reducing duplication of technologies
- Ensure the adoption of cloud resources aligns with the company’s security posture
- Implement standard toolsets with appropriate configuration and governance in place
- Test and verify resiliency and redundancy of systems for BCP-type scenarios
- Train and mentor other members of the engineering team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in IDLC processes such as Incident, Problem, and Change Management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Certified in MCSE Cloud Platform and Infrastructure preferred
- Amazon Web Services Certified Solutions Architect preferred
