Our client is a media company. They are looking for a Production Accountant to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Complete invoices and expense reports and confirm accurate coding
- Communicate job cost rebilling to clients and reconcile expenses to projects
- Check AR aging and research and resolve payment discrepancies
- Analyze journal entries in compliance with GAAP
- Execute a high volume of payable invoices
- Oversee payments through various methods
- Lead monthly close, bank reconciliations, coding, and job cost reconciliations
- Research compliance and recommend adjustments as necessary
Requirements
- 1+ years of accounting experience
- Public/combo background preferred
- Media, film, or entertainment industry experience preferred
- Strong time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in NetSuite
