Our client is a construction company. They are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their Larchmont, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all development contracts and construction subcontracts
- Manage commitments and review with project managers
- Generate all monthly construction billings to developers
- Input data, print, and review monthly billings
- Analyze insurance certificates to ensure contract compliance
- Arrange monthly loan draw packages for bank
- Adjust vendor records with ours, including loan balances
- Display entries as well as perform various ad hoc projects
- Communicate with project managers, in-house insurance group, and vendors
Requirements
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Public, private, or combo background preferred
- Previous construction industry experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of Excel and Timberline preferred
