Our client is a food & beverage company. They are looking for a Senior Analyst to join their Technical Accounting & Policy group at their Purchase, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Prepare periodic accounting close entries and related reporting
- Work with the divisions regularly regarding derivative activity
- Investigate reconciling items and work to identify and resolve issues
- Design and implement process automation across deliverables
- Draft initial documents for qualifying hedge accounting programs
- Set up new programs in the derivative tracking and accounting system
- Perform quarterly hedge effectiveness testing and broker reconciliations
- Ensure effective internal SOX control procedures are operating effectively
- Produce quarterly and annual footnotes for 10-Q and 10-K reporting
- Present analysis of results to the Senior Director quarterly
Requirements
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Big 4 accounting background
- Open to industry experience
- Analytical with attention to detail
- CPA or parts passed required
