Our client is an energy corporation. They are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join their Stamford, CT office.

Collaborate with commercial trading teams to re-engineer & optimize trading processes and models
Evolve cloud-native solutions to promote integration within the framework
Liaise with the data science team to create next-generation analytic tools
Expand software to support commercial activity including supply & demand, positions, and market data analysis
Oversee problem areas and following the software development lifecycle

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
10+ years of prior professional programming experience preferred
Must understand object-oriented programming concepts
Experience with cloud-based technologies required
Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code preferred
Previous experience with Git, Containers (Docker), Kubernetes, Microservices, Spring, shell scripting, messaging busses, React, or Angular preferred
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Proficient in MATLAB preferred
Knowledge of Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL preferred
Knowledge of Python or Java required
