Our client is a public accounting firm. They are looking for a Senior Tax Manager to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Monitor research findings, tax returns and work papers
- Help formulate conclusions consistent with firm policies and standards
- Review all tax advice is technically correct and properly documented
- Recognize policies, procedures and professional standards
- Communicate to clients, anticipate their needs, adapts to client priorities and plans
- Manage engagement and business relationship
- Coordinate on client issues and risk tolerance
- Scope services to the client
- Oversee clients and how to maximize the relationship
- Coach and develop others through trainings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting required, MBA preferred
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Public, private or combo background
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Knowledge in advanced Excel
- CPA certification preferred
