Our client is a pharmaceutical company. They are looking for a temp Staff Accountant to join their Paramus, NJ office.
Responsibilities
- Handle AP processes such as entering vendor invoices
- Confirm that accrual calculations are correct at the end of the month
- Complete month end journal entries
- Monitor fixed assets, depreciation, and amortization
- Oversee prepaid expenses
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations
- Check that documentation is retained for reconciliation and journal entries
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting required
- 1+ years of accounting experience
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of SAP by Design strongly preferred
- Proficient with Excel required
