Our client is a public accounting firm. They are looking for a Tax Staff to join their Jericho, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Produce complicated tax returns and begin to review smaller tax returns
- Collaborate with managers and partners on tax matters
- Maintain relationships with clients and business partners
- Apply strategies and processes to provide services, solutions, advice and improvement to clients
- Utilize professional standards and governing principles to client business
- Analyze tax returns and make necessary recommendations regarding accuracy, efficiency and applicable tax saving opportunities
- Improve increased compliance responsibility in the review process
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 1+ years of tax experience
- Pubic/combo background preferred
- Previous experience with high net worth preferred
- Strong time management and analytical skills
- Knowledge of Prosystem preferred
- CPA certification strongly preferred
