Our client is a public accounting firm. They are looking for an Audit Manager to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of audit engagements for clients
- Have an understanding of the client’s business
- Support engagement budget constraints and complete assigned tasks
- Manage associate’s auditing work and provide constructive review points
- Lead and supervise associates on engagements
- Assist and mentor associate staff
- Maintain client billing process by assisting managers or directors
- Analyze and begin to develop knowledge in selected specialty practice
- Research and obtain industry knowledge for better client engagements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred
- 3+ years of auditing experience
- 1+ years of supervisory experience
- Public background preferred
- Commercial client and inventory experience required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Excel
- CPA certification preferred
