Our client is a public accounting firm. They seek a Tax Manager, Private Client Services to join their Hollywood, FL office.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on tax planning strategies for individuals, trusts, estates, partnerships, S corporations, and other pass-through entities
- Cultivate long-term client relationships by delivering responsive service and identifying tax-saving opportunities
- Review complex federal, state, and local tax returns, including individual, fiduciary, partnership, corporate, gift, and international filings
- Research technical tax issues and prepare guidance on entity structuring, compensation, multi-state taxation, retirement planning, and ownership transitions
- Supervise tax professionals by reviewing workpapers, mentoring staff, and supporting technical development
- Lead multiple client engagements while managing timelines, budgets, billing, and deliverable quality
- Coordinate with attorneys, wealth advisors, consultants, and other external professionals on client matters
- Present tax planning recommendations and technical insights to support client financial and business objectives
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive tax experience
- Public accounting experience required
- Strong technical expertise and extensive experience reviewing individual, partnership, S-Corporation, trust, gift tax, and investment partnership returns
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and mentor team members
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with executive presence
- Performing, documenting, summarizing, and reviewing research conclusions regarding specific tax issues
- Knowledge of CCH Axcess preferred
- Proficient with MS Office Suite and tax research platforms (e.g., CCH, BNA, RIA)
