Senior Agentic AI Developer – remote – contract to hire – up to $120/hr Contract To Hire

Our client seeks several AI Engineers. They seek people who have shipped production agentic systems end-to-end, with deep hands-on experience with orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangGraph or equivalent), tool/function calling, evaluation/observability, and getting these systems into production across the stack.

Position Summary 

Senior Agentic AI Developer to design, build, and deploy complex multi-agent systems and intelligent automation pipelines within our next-generation Commerce Agentic Platform. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of cutting-edge orchestration frameworks, robust evaluation pipelines, and full-stack deployment. Reporting directly to the Principal Agentic Systems Architect, this position is deeply technical and hands-on, requiring deep fluency in LLM-based agents, structured prompt and context engineering, and the rapid development of scalable AI services. You’ll be instrumental in shaping the future of our AI infrastructure while collaborating across engineering, data, and product teams.

Candidates who can demonstrate most or all the following will be prioritized:

• Production agentic orchestration (LangGraph or similar) and robust retrieval/hybrid search
• Structured outputs (JSON schema/function/tool calling) plus input/output validation patterns and guardrails
• Solid eval harnesses and observability (offline/online)
• Passionate about AI development and being on the bleeding edge of where this stack is moving.
• Comfort across the stack (vector DBs + SQL, CI/CD, monitoring)
• Active use of modern code copilots (Cursor, Claude Code, Microsoft Copilot). In our experience, engineers who code directly with multiple LLMs and the agentic tool stack develop a sharper, real-time intuition for model capabilities and limitations, which is crucial for this phase.
