Lead AI-IOS Engineer – Full time – on site NYC – up to 270K + equity Permanent

Our client is looking for a Lead AI-iOS Engineer to own parts of our iOS app and lift the velocity of the whole engineering org, iOS and backend alike. You’ll meet and hopefully up-level the technical bar, ship relentlessly, work directly with the founders, and have an outsized hand in steering the product. We build with AI at the center: AI-native development, agentic workflows, a shipping pace that wasn’t possible 6 months ago.

What You’ll Do

• Own parts of the iOS app end-to-end: architecture, features, performance, releases (SwiftUI, Swift)

Work Experience

• Experience building iOS- native consumer-facing products at scale
• Experience at a top consumer tech company (e.g., Airbnb, Snap, Uber)
• Has worked at an early-stage startup or has a founding or MVP-building background

Hard Skills

• Actively builds and experiments with AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) as a core part of daily workflow
• Deep expertise in Swift and SwiftUI
• Proficiency in Python
• Background at a social or real-time consumer product (Snap, Partiful, Bumble, BeReal, etc.)
• Provide a GitHub profile with their application
